I could be way off-base here and just flat-out wrong - especially since I have never used an ASIO interface with Pro Tools, but I think in order to use that ASIO4ALL driver that you appear to have loaded - you will also have to have a WDM driver loaded for your Mbox mini to be accessible through it.Īgain, I could be wrong here, but it just seems like that is two hoops to jump through to get audio from your interface to your audio software, which could actually induce even more latency. This is what my playback engine setup screen looks like.
Now when I switch to ASIO I run into the same problem I had when I started this thread. I did some research and found that using ASIO as my engine will decrease those latency issues. So I switched the playback engine to MBOX and it worked to let tracks arm and record, but I ran into latency problems.
